   Second order of this wire from Brocott. Use it for making guitar pick ups. Product is great for the job, pretty good price and arrived particularly fast. Very happy. As I said, this is my second order. I have wound 13 pick ups (single coils and P90s) with the 42AWG wire and I am more than happy with the sound. Also just ordered some of the 43AWG.

   Does what it's supposed to. A bit too much glue used at the start and end. Overall great for hand winding guitar pickups

4. Learning curve

   I'm currently building a replica of a 72 Telecaster custom. After much searching, I have found it almost impossible to find a suitable wide range neck pickup for my project.
   Solution build/ wind my first pickup! Very pleased with the service from Brocott. Very quick delivery and great value.

5. Humbucker pickup wire

   I'm venturing into the weird, wonderful world of winding my own own humbucking guitar pickups and found Brocott online. They're delivery times are great...I live in Spain and the wire arrived here in a week.
   I sacrificed a lot of the first reel on a learning curve!!! This stuff is seriously thin...(a 500gm reel has about 13.5 kilometers!) and requires a delicate touch... But after several failures and multiple expletive/profanities I succeeded...(the pickups sound great) and so have ordered and received another reel to hopefully improve on my initial attempt.

   I can't comment as yet...I'm still waiting for the other bits and bobs for my pickups to arrive from the USA. But the delivery to here in Spain was fast and the packaging first class... Judging from the other reviews, I'm sure I'll be able to produce some quality humbuckers...Watch this space...

   Great wire! rewound some blown fender pickups for my stratocaster' even the spool it comes on is quality ( no sharp edges) Excellent!!! i tried the rest now i'm using the best for all my guitar pickup winding.
