This module supervises the charging state of a 12 V car battery and starts charging automatically, whenever there is a drop of voltage. With full battery state, the module will switch off and only supervise the battery. Suitable for batteries placed in alarm systems, weekend-houses, caravans etc. in order to keep batteries constantly charged without the risk of overcharging. Also suitable as charging regulator for solar surfaces. Charging current maximum 1,5 A. Short circuit and reverse current proof. Automatic charging interruption with battery voltage of approx. 13,8...14,2 V.

Purchased to apply to a 1970s motorcycle charging system which was causing me major headaches wired into bikes loom in conjunction with a new rectifier only three wires so easy to figure out when started bike showed 14.3 volts straight away so job done do not know about long term performance in a motorcycle application but so far appears to be a good product at a very reasonable cost! time will tell but great so far!.
