Product Description
Solar Charging Regulator
12V / 16A / 180 Watt
Protects Your Batteries & and Your Solar Panel !
Manufacturers Notes...M174
The regulator is connected between a solar panel 12 V and 1 or 2 batteries (or battery bank). The unit regulates charge to the batteries and prevents over-charging. This solar charge regulator also has built-in reverse protection so that no current is allowed to flow back to the solar panel.
With this regulator, you have the choice to charge 1 large battery or bank of batteries up to 16 amp or to charge 2 seperate batteries individually up to 8 amp each. When 2 batteries are connected, they are charged separately from each other, so the battery with the lowest charge always receives more charging current. You can monitor the progress of the system with the active LEDs that display the current status of the system.
All modules are supplied with manufacturers data sheets and full fitting instructions
Technical data...
- Input voltage: solar panels 15...22 V open circuit voltage, 12 V rated voltage
- Max. charge current: total 16 A (2 batteries of max. 8 A each or 1 battery connected in parallel at both outputs up to 16 A)
