Battery-powered level indicator for measuring the liquid level of water tanks such as rainwater, sewage chambers or slurry tanks from a distance of up to 100 m. (cable). After touching the button, indication occurs via 10 LEDs in steps of 10 % each (indication 10...100 %). The device is earmarked for wall assembly (approx. 120 x 70 x 20 mm) and requires 2 batteries AA. Connection is made via terminals inside the device. A normal signal cable (telephone cable, control wire or the like) with at least 11 cores is necessary to connect your water tank with the level indicator (cable is not included). You may also employ cables with less cores, but then it will not be possible to use all indication steps (e.g. with 8 cores only 7 LED indication steps may be used, which is, however, often sufficient).
- Operating voltage: 3 V (2 x AA batteries)
- Display: max. 10 LEDs and 1 LED for the battery control
- Measuring points in the water tank: 1...10, switchable (can be configured for 10% depth demarkations
- Current consumption during the measurement (button is pushed): max. 50 mA if all LEDs light up
- Max. cable length between the level indicator and water tank: 100 m
- Required cable to the water tank: telephone cable or similar cable with at least 11 cores
- Measuring current at the water tank probe: 50 µA per channel
- Dimensions: approx. 120 x 70 x 20 mm (without wall angle brackets)
easy to fit , simple to operate

After looking for an underground water tank depth gauge that is not near an electricity supply I found this.
Lots of gauges only show you bottom and top level but this can shows you the whole tank in 10% stepa just using normal telephone cable. Plus powered by 2 x AA batteries it’s a winner.
Brocott were the cheapest and quickest to deliver.

This is the 3rd one of these units that I have ordered. One for myself and 2 for others who when they seen how good it works wanted one for themselves. We are using them to monitor the water levels in underground cisterns. I would have given it 5 stars except that the design is a bit odd when it comes to removing the cover to replace the batteries.
Peace of mind - at last

Our motorhome fresh water gauge had not worked properly from day 1 and the dealer was no help at all. This water level indicator was simple to attach to the existing probes in the tank and we now have a clear and reliable indication of the water level. Only improvement would be a rear-entry point for the cable entry although I was able to hide the top-entry cable behind an existing trim.
Water Level Indicator - used for a caravan toilet

The thetford toilet on our touring caravan provides no indication of the flush water level and I had been considering options for addressing this. I had to run a cable outside the tank in mini trunking to enter above the water line and make up a 10 point sensor with alarm wire to stand in the tank but it all works fine and just what was needed. Product seems well made and could be run by connecting to the two batteries already in the compartment used for the low level waste indicator.
